CORE Investigations and Polygraph is owned and operated by Doug Brenn. Doug is a veteran of California Law Enforcement with over 25 years of service, and is a licensed private investigator within the State of California (#25534).
Doug's time in local Law Enforcement (10 1/2 years) has allowed him to conduct/participate in a wide range of criminal investigations, to include: Murder, Rape, Crimes against Children, Assault, Auto Theft, Grand Theft, Identity Theft, Embezzlement, Narcotics, and Burglary. Doug has provided courtroom testimony on the same variety of cases.
Doug has also served in Law Enforcement at the state level for approximately 14 1/2 years. During this portion of his Law Enforcement career Doug was able to develop specialized expertise in the investigation of Financial Crimes/Fraud Investigations, Identity Theft, Counterfeiting/Falsification of identity documents, and Loan Sharking/Usury.
Doug has received thousands of hours of training in all aspects of criminal and civil investigations. He has provided expert testimony in court in regard to identity documents. His interview and interrogation skills are exceptional. Doug has been recognized for his ability to get subjects to talk when others could not. He knows the absolute value of an Honest, Thorough, and Quality investigation. Equally as important, he understands what it takes to produce a quality investigative report (clear, concise, and factual).
This level of experience has allowed Doug to achieve significant accomplishments in both Law Enforcement, as well as in the private sector as a licensed Private Investigator. Doug held the position of DEPUTY CHIEF (5 years) with a California law enforcement agency. Currently, Doug is the Inland Empire DISTRICT GOVERNOR for the California Association of Licensed Investigators. The Inland Empire District is comprised of approximately 160 licensed private investigators.
Doug possesses a State of California Exposed Firearms Permit, Guard Card, Concealed Weapons Permit and is a member in good standing with the following associations:
